This is a simple, easy to use software for creating a nice looking cookbook. It isn't super fancy- you can't search for recipes, you can't sort recipes by project, no metric/English conversion tools, and there isn't currently the capability of having page numbers in the index- but you do get a very good looking project with very little effort. The software is quite large so you may want to consider that if you have PC issues. Customer support was very quick and friendly with their responses. You can download a trial version for 14 days before having to order it.
Overall, I would recommend this software to others doing fund raising cookbooks on their own. |

I love this software. I actually had purchased it a few years ago to do a cookbook for a couple of friends. I put all my recipes in a Word doc and then copy and pasted into the software. It was so easy. I loved the little symbols and spell check. I loved the half pages. When I had a question I would contact the Cookbook People and they were quick to get back to me with the info that I needed. It was great! I really wanted to enhance my cookbook by adding some of my own photography, ie lighthouses to it. It was easy for me to figure out the exact recipe to put my picture on so the recipe would break just where I wanted it to. There were times when I would have to make an adjustment and it was so easy to do that. Since I did that cookbook I have had my PC crash and because I did not back up the correct file I lost my original cookbook. :( Yesterday I decided to start my revised cookbook but found my version of the software wasn't totally compatible with Windows Vista. I contacted the company and they set me up with what I needed. I am back on track with my revised cookbook and happy as heck. My friends cannot wait to get the revised version. In addition I was really happy to see that the company is offering more items for the cookbook, like page dividers! This was a lot of fun back in 2007 when I first did my cookbook and even more fun now!

You should try the trial version first before buying. I found some frustrating traits when entering recipes that made me not buy this one. |

I recently had difficulty with my program. I have been collecting my favorite recipes and it have thoroughly enjoyed using this program. It is easy to use and access. Then all of a sudden it wouldn't open. I panicked when Matilda went into her coma. I tried and tried to get her fixed and then contacted the tech support at the company. They responded to me each time I contacted them within 24 hours, were incredibly eager to help me, problem solved the issue which was not a run of the mill problem. Each time we made progress it inched me toward Matilda's recovery and I am glad to say that she is now fully recovered. They have a great program that they have built failsafes into so that when issues come up you don't loose your recipes. What is more impressive is the customer service and tech support. You can't ask for better. I would recommend this program to anyone that wants to collect their recipes and perhaps make them into a book for family and friends like I intend to. |

This is the greatest cookbook software out there! It has 27 different creative, cultural and religious choices for how your book will look. You can add on an address book, a birthday calendar and a biography section to make it a complete reference tool. It's incredibly easy to learn (there are only three screens), because you want to be in the kitchen, not in front of a computer.
I have made my family cookbook and gave out copies to all family members. They were so pleased!
You couldn't ask for a cookbook software program that is so easy to use. I wish I had found it sooner. Instead I wasted time trying to get one of those online cookbooks to suit my needs. It didn't. This does!
You are also your own printer or you can take it out to have someone else print it for you. What more could you ask for?
